Video Editing_Premiere Pro CC

The two first videos are from the workshop using Jays work.

All Cinema 4D workshops are now finished for this term so todays workshop was focussed around presenting our work in a professional way using Premiere Pro.

I've never used Premiere before so I was looking forward to the outcomes of this workshop. Creating slideshows, editing video clips for a showreel, adding sound and rendering out the video correctly were all part of todays tasks.

We used Jay's work as an example of what the final outcomes would look like, the idea is that we take away the skills learnt today and create our own showreels etc.

After the workshop I created my own showreel/slideshow using work from first year, the video above shows all the final outcomes from the studio briefs, the first being a magazine related to Manchester and the 90s, the second was a live brief for the Penguin Design Award 2017 which was to design a book cover and the third was another magazine that related to my first year essay about women in gaming.

I'm quite happy with the outcome of this short video and it is definitely something to consider when applying for placements or jobs that require a portfolio viewing.

The second video shows all final work from the After Effects workshops in first year.
